National Firesleeve are excited to be bringing our industry-leading range of hose and cable protection sleeving to the 2024 West Virginia Coal Show & Symposium this month. It’s an opportunity for the company to show the unique capabilities of our products and demonstrate how they fit into the modern mining industry, enhancing the safety of your team and increasing the longevity of your kit and equipment.
The National Firesleeve team will be in booth 634, which stands in the rear right corner of the main exhibition hall. You’ll find our stand between Elgin Lighting and the pump and equipment supplier, West View Cunningham, and opposite Total Wrecking & Environmental.
When is the West Virginia Coal Show & Symposium?
The West Virginia Coal Show & Symposium takes place on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th March at the new Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center. The event will provide a range of interesting and informative talks from 9am to 4.30pm on Tuesday and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Wednesday, with the exhibition area open 10am to 6pm on Tuesday and 10 am to 5pm on Wednesday.
The event also includes a reception for symposium delegates on Tuesday between 4.30 and 5.30, the West Virginia Coal Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony on Tuesday evening and a special Environmental Excellence Awards Luncheon between noon and 2pm on Wednesday.
Attending the event
The Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center is conveniently located in the heart of America’s coal country. The 13,500 seat coliseum and 100,000sq ft convention centre are located close to three major interstate routes, the I-77, the I-64 and the I-79, and are just a few minutes’ drive from Yeager Airport, which offers connections to several major airline hubs.
Delegates will be spoiled for choice with over 1,200 hotel rooms available within walking distance of the venue.

This year’s West Virginia Coal Show & Symposium is a very special event, as it is being run in conjunction with the West Virginia Coal Association 50th Anniversary Annual Mining Symposium. This will be celebrating half a century of leading the way for the mining industry in the state and is sure to attract an interesting and influential audience.
